Hippocrates’ Plane Tree

North of the Ancient Agora is the lovely cobblestone Plateia Platanou, where you can admire the Hippocrates' plane tree, under which Hippocrates is said to have taught his students. This is one of Europe's oldest plane trees. According to the legend, the plane tree was planted by Hippocrates 24 centuries ago. The current tree is 500 years old and its perimeter reaches 12 meters.

Zia Village

Zia, the highest village of Kos, about 14km away from the town of Kos, is well-known for the breathtaking view of the sunset and the entire island. Enjoy your meal in one of the taverns, decorated in traditional Greek island style and wander around the shops with handmade souvenirs and natural products such as honey, soap and syrups.

Thermal Springs – Therma

Therma beach is located 8km away from Psalidi area. Therma is exceptional due to the hot water coming from the volcano of Nisyros. The hot springs are a real treasure containing elements such as Potassium, Sodium, Calcium, Magnesium, Sulfur and Chlorine, all ideal treatments for rheumatism, arthritis and gynecological issues
