1. What is new with STORYTELLERS BY MITSIS?
As part of the rebranded loyalty programme, the names of the tiers have been changed, to Learner (ex. White), Author (ex. Bronze), Poet (ex. Silver) and Mentor (ex. Gold) without changing the minimum qualifications per tier. The cards validity remains.

2. Does my existing card number change due to the change of my tier name?
No, your existing card number does not change.

3. How can I log into the new platform?
You may login here https://www.mitsis.com/en/storytellers using your email & password.

4. How can I update my personal information or contact details on my loyalty account?
You can update your personal information and contact details by logging in to your Storytellers by Mitsis account and by clicking on PROFILE.

5. Who can become a member?
Anyone who is above 18 years old and has an e-mail address.

6. Can I only register during my stay?
You may register online whenever you wish! Please note that it is necessary to become a member before or during your holiday and certainly before check-out, in order to collect the points of that stay.

7. Who collects the points during the stay?
Points per stay are collected by the cardholder named on the reservation, unless otherwise indicated during check-in. Also please note that point collection is limited to one room per stay.

8. How can I register?
You may register online at https://www.mitsis.com/en/storytellers by clicking on the Join now button.

9. How many tiers are there?
There are 4 tiers: Learner, Author, Poet and Mentor. The more points you collect and the more nights you spend at Mitsis hotels and resorts, the higher your tier.

10. How do I earn points?
Points are accrued from the hotel stays, concierge services, food and beverage expenses, and any additional charges that are directly charged to the room.

In terms of hotel stays, you can accumulate points in two ways, depending on how you book your stay at our hotels and resorts:

a) Guests who choose to book their stay directly with us at https://www.mitsis.com unlock our most rewarding point accelerator system. They earn points according to their tier and the amount spent in euros (net amount, VAT excluded). 
b) For guests who choose to book their stay through partners and travel agencies, they accumulate points per night spent with us based on the hotel category and season, regardless of the amount spent.

11. What do I need to do to collect my points?
You simply need to inform the hotel either before or during your stay that you are a Storytellers member, and the points will be added to your account within one day after your departure. Members are required to make their booking reservation under the same name & email used to register for the programme. We recommend checking your account and contacting us within 12 months of your latest stay in case you believe corrections are required.

12. How do I ensure I collect points from Concierge services? 
To accumulate points from Concierge services, simply log in to your Storytellers account via the website or Mitsis app, book the service via the concierge platform, and remember to fill in your Storytellers credentials (email address and password) when prompted. This process needs to be performed by the Storytellers member, as the password is also required. Filling in just the email without logging in with your personal password will not result in points collection.

13. I booked directly through mitsis.com, but I received fewer points than expected based on my payment. Why is that?
This is because VAT is excluded from point collection as of June 14th, 2023. Additionally, please be aware that only charges applied to your room will be eligible for point collection. If you incurred an expense that was not charged to your room, the corresponding amount will not result in points collection. 14. Which are the categories of the participating hotels in Storytellers by Mitsis?
• Category 1: Mitsis Bali Paradise, Mitsis La Vita, Mitsis N’U Piraeus Port, Mitsis Petit Palais
• Category 2: Mitsis Cretan Village, Mitsis Family Village, Mitsis Faliraki, Mitsis Galini, Mitsis Grand Hotel, Mitsis Norida, Mitsis Ramira, Mitsis Rodos Maris, Mitsis Rodos Village, Mitsis Royal Mare, Mitsis Summer Palace
• Category 3: Mitsis Selection Alila, Mitsis Selection Blue Domes, Mitsis Selection Laguna, Mitsis Selection Lindos Memories, Mitsis Rinela

15. I want to book a room directly on mitsis.com but there is no Storytellers discount on non-refundable rates. Why?
This is because the Storytellers discount of 10% is only applicable on flexible rates.

16. Why do I need more points than last year to redeem on free nights of the same hotel category?
The Storytellers by Mitsis operates on a dynamic points system that takes into account various factors. Factors such as hotel rates and upgrades made to our properties each year can impact the number of points needed for redemption within the same hotel category.

17. I want to redeem my points for a two-night stay, but my available points are only sufficient for 1 night. How can I proceed with that booking?
To complete your booking, you need to follow two steps. First, log in to your account and choose "redeem for free stays" to book the night that your available points can cover. Next, make a separate reservation for the remaining nights by going through the regular booking process and paying accordingly.

18. I visited a Mitsis hotel while being a member, but my points have not been updated. What should I do?
If your latest stay was within last 12 months, you may contact us at [email protected] 

19. I am staying in the same room with another member of the Storytellers by Mitsis. Can we both collect points?
No, only one member may receive a room's points. The member that made the reservation collects the points, unless indicated otherwise during check-in.

20. I have visited Mitsis hotels and resorts in the past, can I collect points for previous stays, when I was not a member?
No, your account cannot be updated with points for stays that took place prior to your registration.

21. How can I receive my Storytellers member card?
You may see your own card by logging in to your account. For “Mentor” members we can send your card by post to your home address or to the hotel you have booked.

22. Is there an expiration date on my Storytellers membership card?
No, your Storytellers membership card does not expire.

23. When will my points be credited to my account?
Your account will be updated 1 day after your departure. We suggest you check your account and contact us the latest within 12 months from your latest stay for any corrections needed.

24. How can I check my account?
You may visit https://www.mitsis.com/en/storytellers and log in to your account with your credentials. Once logged in you can see your updated points balance.

25. I did not get all the benefits during my stay. Why?
Please note that you can only access the benefits available to your tier. Also, some benefits are subject to availability and cannot be confirmed in advance. You may contact the hotel's Guest Relations for further assistance during your stay.

26. I did not get the departure gift as mentioned at the benefit table. Why?
The departure gift, as many of the Storytellers benefits, is subject to availability. As our loyalty programme is rapidly growing, there might be cases of low availability in specific gifts.

27. I have more than one card under my name. What should I do?
You may contact us at [email protected] to make sure you will only have one correct account under your name.

28. Can I earn points for multiple rooms booked under my name?
Members can accrue loyalty points for only one room per stay, even when booking multiple rooms. The sole exception occurs when a member is the leader occupant of a second room where the family's children, aged under 18, are accommodated.

29. I have a special request regarding my upcoming stay, whom should I contact?
You may contact the hotel you are visiting with any wishes you may have. Also, remember to fill in the Preferences tab in your membership account, so we will always know what you like the most. Please keep in mind that we always try to fulfill your requests, however they cannot be considered as confirmed.

30. I booked a spa treatment directly at the spa premises, but I did not get any points for that. Why?
You can only collect points from services that you booked via concierge platform, ensuring you log in as a Storytellers member when prompted by the system.

31. I made a reservation for my family/friends without me staying at the hotel. Can my family/guests use my Storytellers benefits?
No, the benefits apply for the cardholder & one adult beneficiary, as long as they are both staying at the hotel.

32. How can I redeem my points?
While logged in to your account, you may redeem your points easily online, by clicking on the REDEEM option. You will be then prompted to choose whether you prefer to redeem your points for free services or for free stays, depending on your points balance.

Redemptions limitations: 1) Room upgrades are excluded from redemptions, 2) For Mitsis N’U Piraeus Port, the redemptions for free stays are applicable only for stays from 1st of May 2024 onwards.

33. After redeeming my points, will I be downgraded?
No, your tier will not change if you use your points.

34. I made a hotel room night reservation and paid with points, but I want to cancel it. Is it possible? 
Yes, you may cancel a holiday you booked without restrictions. If you wish to modify it, please contact us at [email protected] 

35. Can I collect points from a service paid at a Mitsis hotel, while staying at another Mitsis hotel?
No, you can only collect points from services at the hotel that you are currently in house.

36. I want to visit another all-inclusive Mitsis hotel during my stay. Can I visit all the premises?
This benefit depends on the Storytellers tier & the hotel type you are currently staying at.
• For “Authors” the visit is valid for the main restaurant of other hotels (Selection hotels excluded).
• For all “Poets” & for “Mentors” staying at 4-star hotels, the visit is valid for main restaurants & bars.
• For “Mentors” staying at 5-star hotels: the visit is valid for all restaurants & bars (prebooking required). 
Limitations for Lindos Memories: adult-only policy, benefits limited to breakfast and dinner (excluding drinks) and prebooking is mandatory.

37. I am an “Author” interested in the exclusive Anniversary/Birthday/Honeymoon package discount. What should I do?
You would need to book the service through the Concierge platform and request the discount on the package you are interested in at the Front office, by showing your Storytellers card. Please note that the discount is valid for 1 package during your stay.

38. I am a “Mentor” interested in the Wine tasting experience. What should I do?
Wine tasting experience is taking place at the premises of each hotel at a prescheduled day & time, once per week, as per each hotel’s planning. The hotel’s staff can inform you accordingly.

39.  I am a “Poet” interested in the watersport discount. What should I do?
You would need to request the discount on the watersport of your preference at the Front Office, by showing your Storytellers card.  You can get the discount benefit for 1 watersport activity during your stay. Τhe watersport discount is valid for our in-house watersport partners in Mitsis Selection Alila, Mitsis Selection Blue Domes, Mitsis Family Village, Mitsis Selection Lindos Memories, Mitsis Norida, Mitsis Rodos Maris, Mitsis Rodos Village, Mitsis Summer Palace.

40. I am a “Poet” interested in the Hop-on Hop-off discount. In which hotel is the benefit available and how can I request it?
The benefit is available only in Mitsis N’U Piraeus Port and the discount is applicable only for 1 transfer per stay. Guests need to request the discount at the front office, by showing Storytellers card.

41. I am a “Mentor” and I want to get the 10% discount on a SPA treatment. Can I choose whichever treatment I want?
Yes, you can choose whichever Spa treatment you wish.
Please book your service via concierge and ensure you show your card at the Spa, to get the discount.
The discount is valid once per stay. This benefit is valid across hotels participating in the Storytellers programme except for La Vita, Petit Palais & Ramira.

42. I am entitled to a discount related benefit, based on my tier. Will I collect points from that service?
No, you cannot collect points from services that are provided with a discount, as a tier benefit.
